Our Story
Day Task was born from burnout, frustration, and the feeling that there simply were not enough hours in the day.
After working 12- to 14-hour days, the founder found herself coming home to piles of laundry, dishes waiting to be done, and grocery shopping left unfinished because stores were already closed. Most importantly, she was missing valuable time with her husband and their two pups.
She realized she couldn't be the only person feeling overwhelmed and wishing for a trustworthy helping hand to take a few tasks off her plate. Time and time again, she heard the same thing from coworkers, busy professionals, and young mothers: "I just wish I had more help."
That shared struggle inspired the creation of Day Task—a service designed to give people back their time so they can focus on what matters most.
At Day Task, trust is everything. That's why we only hire individuals we would personally welcome into our own homes and around our own family members. Our team is made up of dependable, caring people dedicated to helping lighten your load and simplify your day.
Think of us as your trustworthy angels, stepping in to handle life's everyday tasks so you can spend more time living and less time worrying.

We are a more personable personal assistant company and quite different from Task Rabbit and Thumbtack. You will not have random folks in your private spaces and we are insured and bonded.
Our Taskers are individually vetted and background checked. Day Taskers have all signed NDA’s and know to not expose any confidential information about our clients. If the client has their own NDA to provide, please email it to info@daytaskla.com to ensure that the assinged day tasker will sign and we will return to you. The Day Tasker will have contact with the on duty appointed managers for the day and the client will be able to sit back and go on with their day.
We are here to insure reliable help and for the client to save time.
